The Beretta APX, the first model of this brand with přednataženou runs, was first presented at the International fair of defence technology IDEX in Abu Dhabi in February 2015. The company Beretta this gun has developed for participation in the tender for the supply of new handguns for the american land army and the air force (XM17 Modular Handgun System competition) as a replacement for model M9 (Beretta 92 FS). In the competition finally succeeded, the SIG Sauer P320. 12. February 2017 was on the show a Hit in the city Vicenza presented a version of this weapons for the civilian market in the caliber of 9 mm, and .40. From 2018, the gun is offered in two sizes: APX Centurion and APX Compact.
