The Navistar International 7000-MV series vehicles use the same chassis as the Navistar International WorkStar series civilian vehicles. They have been in production since 2005 and are used by a number of countries around the world, including the USA and Canada (as part of the MSVS - Medium Support Vehicle System project). In addition to the General Transport Truck (GTT), there are also versions with increased ground clearance (higher ground clearance and different suspension), a dump truck, a tanker for transporting fuel or water, a dump truck, a special extended version with a 9-seater cab, various box bodies, a single-hook loader and more.

Under the Foreign Military Sales project, for example, deliveries were made to Iraq in 2017-2020 (as MTV GTT), and in 2019 a contract worth $24.5 million was signed with Somalia (for the delivery of a GTT roller and an MV-Recovery recovery vehicle).
