9. smíšená brigáda zůstala podřízena 11. divizi, kde vznikla a s níž pokračovala celou válku. Z Alcañizu odešla do Teruelu, kde 14. prosince obsadila výšiny u Concudu. Následující den, když opustila Alto de Celadas, vstoupila mezi Concud a Caudé, aby dobyl San Blas, kde vzala 169 zajatců. 30. prosince ji v Teruelu vystřídaly síly 68. divize a 22. ledna 1938 se vrátila do Madridu, aby nahradila své ztráty. 9. 25. 2. The 9th Mixed Brigade remained subordinate to the 11th Division, where it was formed and with which it continued the entire war. On March 9, she moved as a backup to the front of Guadalajara, where the Italian offensive began, but was soon engulfed by the most important battles of the battle. On March 13, it occupied Trijueque, and the next day his "Thaelmann" battalion attacked the Palacio de Ibarra, while the "Garibaldi" internationals did so at the Palacio de Don Luis. Her next goal was to follow the main road, starting from Trijueque, in an effort to stop the Italian CTV. On March 19, it occupied Gajanejos. After the Battle of Guadalajara, the 9th Mixed Brigade, already one of the Republican Army's toughest brigades, was deployed in all important battles as well as in many minor battles, such as the failed operation against the Cerro Garabitas of April 10-14 or the bridgehead skirmishes. national forces in Toledo due to a planned attack on Oropes, which was never carried out. On July 5, she began the process, passing Brunete from the left and continuing towards the Guadarrama River. The next day, 3 km from Brunete, she encountered a battalion of the San Quintín National Forces and got stuck in a bloody battle that caused the death of the Panda Brigade Commander and the "José Díaz" Polanca Battalion Commander and the loss of dozens of officers. The brigade stopped in defensive positions and which on July 24, 1937 had to leave before the insurgent counteroffensive. After the restoration of forces, she took part in the Battle of Belchite in the Fuentes de Ebro sector. The 9th Mixed Brigade continued at the front in Aragon and settled in Alcañiz. She left Alcañiz for Teruel, where she occupied the heights near Concud on December 14. The next day, leaving Alto de Celadas, she entered between Concud and Caudé to conquer San Blas, where she took 169 prisoners. On December 30, she was replaced in Teruel by 68th Division forces, and on January 22, 1938, she returned to Madrid to make up for her losses. On February 9, she returned to Salvacañete. After the Battle of Teruel, she continued to cover the sector of the Aragonese front between Ebro and Calanda. The rebel offensive, which began here, was stopped by the brigade at Torrevelille on March 19, 1938. On May 25, she was sent to the Balaguer bridgehead and remained in reserve at the Torre del Señorito west of Belicaire, without participating in the fighting. On June 5, she returned from the bridgehead to stay in El Perelló. On July 25, she crossed the Ebro over the Illetas in the initial operation of the Battle of Ebro and occupied Miravet and Benisanet. The next day she tried to conquer Puig Caballé. On August 2, he established his positions in the central Sierra de Pandols, where he fought intense fighting, which resulted in the death of Yagüe and serious injuries to Commissioner Cuevas on the 10th day. Yagüe was nominated for the winner of Madrid for the heroic performances of his troops. On August 11, the brigade was so decimated that it had to be withdrawn from the front. The militia commander Gregorio Ramírez replaced Yagüe. The 9th Mixed Brigade returned to combat on September 6 to cover the withdrawal of the 100th Brigade at the eastern and northeastern foothills of the 565th elevation. His anti-tank units destroyed twelve Italian tanks. At Borjas Blancas, the front allowed and the brigade had to retreat and join the general retreat. On February 2, 1939, she received an order to defend Gerona, which she did not achieve. 6. lost Sarriá de Ter and two days later tried to stop the enemy's advance on the Muga line. At dusk on February 9, 1939, the 9th Mixed Brigade crossed the border at PortBou.
