Journalist Yuriy Butusov reported that Ukrainian 72nd Brigade captured pilot Major Andrei Fedorchuk of Wagner's group. He was flying a Su-25, which the same unit shot down using an Igla portable anti-aircraft missile. In addition to his membership in the Vagners, the pilot admitted to receiving 205,000 rubles a month, equivalent to the current 85,000 CZK. It seems that the Russians either have a problem with navigation or at least do not trust theirs, as a Garmin navigation device and a smart phone with a navigation program were found on the prisoner.
There is also a general question about the state of the flying personnel (numbers, quality...) of the Air and Space Forces of the Russian Federation, since they obviously use airmen who are not their members.
