Posílila XXII. armádní sbor a 17. října provedla protiútok na předmostí Guadalopy v Castellserás a Alcañiz z Alcorisy. O dva dny později musela provést ústup v La Codoñera. 13. dubna byla poslána na frontu Castellón. 10. | At the beginning of August 1937, the 209th Mixed Brigade was formed in Alcalá de Henares, subordinate to the 46th Division, to which it was assigned. On 21 January 1938 she left Alcalá de Henares and proceeded to the Teruel front, where she covered the line at Villastar. La Muela de Teruel was defended at the end of January, and once the battle and the national counter-offensive were over, he returned to his base at Alcalá de Henares. On March 13, she went to Vinaroz again to the scene of the fighting on the Levantine front. She strengthened the XXII. army corps and on 17 October counterattacked the Guadalopa bridgehead at Castellserás and Alcañiz from Alcorisa. Two days later she had to make a retreat in La Codoñera. On April 13, she was sent to the Castellón front. On June 10, she was in the central sector of the provincial capital of La Plana, and two days later she managed to escape from a pocket in the Sierra de Borriol. On 4 July it joined Army Corps "A", in the sector to the left of Alfondeguilla, and from there withdrew to the XYZ line, where it remained until the end of the national offensive in the Levant. It became part of the 6th Division XX. army corps and moved to the Extremadura front in August. |
