TY-90
With the development of the TY-90 (Tian Yan = Heavenly Swallow) missile, China became the first country in the world to develop a short-range PLRS with infrared guidance for drills. Not like most other PLRS for drills that were derived from surface-to-air or air-to-air missiles for aircraft, this missile was developed directly with the purpose of drills. The advantage is therefore its low weight (only 20 kg) and the ability to carry more missiles per propeller. The WZ-9 (SA 365 Dauphin) is used as the missile carrier.
