Pořádková policie

Schéma Ordnungspolizei je poměrně dost velké na to, abych se o něm podrobněji rozepisoval. Tak jen v krátkosti - Ordnungspolizei obsahovala všechny uniformované složky německé policie - Ochrannou policii-Schupo (Schutzpolizei), Gempo (Gemeindepolizei), Protipožární policii-FSP (Feuerschutzpolizei) a četnictvo (Gendarmerie). Později (cca 1942) k nim přibyla ještě LSP (Luftschuttzpolizei), která vznikla z LSW/SHD. Další pomocnou složkou patřící pod ORPO byla Technische Nothilfe (TN).

Before the first world war in Germany there were no closed higher police units applicable also for other than purely police tasks. Close to it is perhaps the only police brigade of four police setninách, which were set up in 1901 in Berlin. But even in this case it was all about ensuring greater tactical koordinovanosti in larger-scale events. Equivalent different military police forces, as we know from other european countries, Germany did not have.

The need for the establishment of such a corps showed up after 1918. The versailles peace treaty limited imperial branná power was not applicable to the mastering of large-scale post-war turmoil. In the summer of 1919 was in Prussia established kasernovaná the security police, in part, from the available formations of the volunteer corps, the so-called freikorpsů. After Hitler came to power, began to situation again changed. 15. November 1933 was in Prussia established six inspectorates provincial police (south-east in Breslau, Brandenburg in Berlin, the Center in Magdeburg, North of Szczecin, the West in Düsseldorf and south-West in Frankfurt am Main). A little later arose another inspectorate East, in Königsberg. On the same day assigned to the reich minister of the interior of certain of these inspectorates character of the so-called imperial intermediate headquarters, since their power now to interfere into the other countries. Inspectorate in Frankfurt was now responsible for the Hesse and Thuringia, štětínský for Mecklenburg and Lübeck, magdeburský for Anhalt, Brunswick and Oldenbursko.
