Establishment:01.01.1951 - renaming from the Aviation Regiment 51 (LP 51) The direct predecessor of this unit was the Aviation Regiment 51., established from the essence of the abolished Security Air Force - the so-called "flying policemen" at the airport Pilsen Bory. It took over the border security and used "their" aviation equipment - C-2 and S-199. He briefly served under the 22nd Air Division.


He was subordinated to the headquarters of the 166th Jet Fighter Division in Mlada and at the same time was redesignated the 51st Jet Fighter Regiment. In May 1953 - took over from the 11th lp S-101 aircraft for the 1st squadron. 01.10.1953 renumbered to: 7th Air Fighter Regiment Npor. Jaroslav Březina handed over the 11th Isp on 4.5.1953 (Record of handing over the regiment - ref. 00116-OS-53). In May 1953 he was appointed commander of the 51st Aviation Regiment in Mlada. He retired in August 1954 with the rank of major.
