PSNR-5 Radar Device 1-RL-133
Russian designation:
ПСНР-5 (Подвижная Станция Наземной Разведки)
Destination:
The PSNR-5 radar is used to search for fixed and moving ground targets and to track their movements when the use of other technical means of reconnaissance (from the vehicle equipment) is excluded or not appropriate.
It can detect the nature and polar coordinates of the target(s), in this case distance and bearing.
Basic TTD:
Detecting tanks, OT, vehicles:
- Target speed in the range of 2-60 km/h .......... audio indication
- Target speed within 4-60 km/h .......... from screen
Detection of moving persons:
- Target speed approximately 2 km/h .......... audible indication
- Target speed approximately 4 km/h .......... from screen
Range٭:
- Vehicles, tanks, singly or in column .......... 8 - 10 km
- Persons alone or in a group .......... 3 - 4 km
- Minimum target detection distance .......... 0.2 km
- width of search sector .......... 04-00 to 20-00 dc
- power supply .......... 20-29V, DC
At wind speeds ٭ 5 m/sec and rain heavier than 4 mm/hr, the range is reduced to ½
Sources:
- P-81 summer battery .......... 2 pcs
- P-81A winter battery .......... 1 pc (self-heating)
- continuous operation .......... 20 hrs
Target detection accuracy:
- Sound indication - range .......... ± 25 m
- audible indication - range .......... 00 - 05 dc
- from screen - distance .......... ± 50 m
- from screen - range .......... 00 - 10 dc
The composition and destination of the kit in BPzV(composition differs from the portable version):
- receiver-transmitter(Block P-01) is designed to radiate high-frequency radiation into space and to receive the reflected signal from the target(s), as well as to control the direction of radiation in azimuth and position angle
- The control and indicating console (Block P-02-1) is designed for remote control of Block P-01 and for processing the received signal and retrieving information on detected/tracked targets
- b]voltage stabilizer (Block P-87) is designed for supplying power to individual devices of the radar set from the vehicle's on-board network, simultaneously changing the voltage value to the operating value
- The set with stand (Block P-03) consisting of:
o the stand (Block P-03A) is designed for operation of Block P-01 outside the vehicle on a tripod (same for the NNP-21)
o the orientation telescope is designed to check the identity of the electronic and optical axis of the receiver-transmitter, to orient the P-01 Block antenna to terrain objects (in good visibility, if their azimuth is known) and, if necessary, to visually observe the detected/tracked target
o the orientation buzzer is intended for orientation of the P-01 block antenna in magnetic azimuth when set on a stand
o the link cable is intended to connect the P-01 and P-02 blocks
- summer battery (Block P-81) ...2pcs is designed to power the radar when operating outside the vehicle without connection to its on-board network
- winter battery (Block P-81A) ...1pc is designed to power the radar when operating outside the vehicle without connection to its on-board network
- K-172R
- Mu-351A
- corner reflector
- insert between stand and tripod
- bracket between stand and tripod
- 25 m interconnecting cable (in bag) designed to connect the P-01 and P-02 blocks when the P-01 block is operated on the stand outside the vehicle and the P-02-1 block inside or outside the vehicle (in the hidden position)
- spare parts box (No.19)
- accessory box (No.20)
