3 cm M.K.303 (Br) / 3 cm Flakzwilling M.K.303 (Br)

A weapon developed by Brno's Zbrojovka in cooperation with German companies. Designed for anti-aircraft defense of new types of German submarines. Pairs of these cannons were to be mounted in armored towers.
There was also a project to install a tank chassis with this tower PzKpfw.IV and create a self-propelled anti-aircraft tank (Flakpanzer IV mit 3cm Flakzwiling MK303).

The weapon was designed not only for the submarine, should be in the arsenal of even surface ships and coastal defense where she had to replace the 3.7 Flak 37. The gun was not until may 1945 tightened to the stage that it can be produced.

According to German records, 32 pieces of the cannon were to be produced in 1944 and another 190 pieces of the cannon in 1945. There is to be one cannon in the VHÚ (item no. 100) marked 30 mm Flak M44 U.
