Grigorovič I-2 bis
Originated from a modification of the I-2. Unsatisfactory the cabin has been extended and the pilot's seat was placed higher up, the middle part of the fuselage was of a lattice construction. To propel served the modified license motor Liberty marked in the Soviet union M-5 with the output increased to 420 Hp.
In the years 1926-29 was produced 211 pieces
It was the first fighter aircraft of domestic design introduced into the armament of the VVS in greater numbers.
