From 9 December 1944 in the reserve of the commander of the 2nd Belarusian Front. In early January 1945 the corps was concentrated near Zambrow (PL) in the area of Jabłonka, Rębiszewo-Zegadły and Tybory. From 16 to 21 January 1945, concentration and reconnaissance of the battle area in the directions Zambrov - Lomze, Zambrov - Różan and Zambrov - Ostrolenka. Two self-propelled regiments were delivered to the corps by rail (Zegadły). They were 1436th SAP with SU-100 and 1496th SAP with SU-76. Between 25-27 January 1945 the corps completed a 150km move to the area of the former German military barracks in the village of Nosarzewo near the Polish town of Mława.


The tanks were taken over by the corps behind the railroad. Ciechanów and Mława stations.

19.02.1945 move more than 250 km to the settlement Sośno near Sępólno Krajeńskie. 21.02.1945 according to the order No. 272 it was transferred to the 19th Army.


From 25.02. to 05.03.1945 the corps deprived the Germans of: 22 tanks, 16 self-propelled guns, 40 cannons, 48 mortars, 13 SPW, 640 cars, 620 carts, 1 train, 3200 dead and 450 prisoners.


The Corps lost: 17 T-34s burned, 3 SU-100s, 1 SU-76. 19 T-34s were hit. 48 officers and 182 privates and junior officers were killed. 102 officers and 368 enlisted men were wounded.


From 07.03. to 28.03.1945 the corps deprived the Germans of: 54 tanks, 39 self-propelled guns, 80 cannons, 52 mortars, 49 SPW, 750 cars, 2000 wagons, 2 armored trains, 9200 dead. Hit 35 tanks, 18 self-propelled guns, 83 guns, 45 mortars and 4 armored trains. Captured and captured: 980 prisoners, 18 tanks, 1760 wagons, 24 trains.


Corps lost: 89 T-34s burned, 4 ISU-122s, 5 SU-100s, 8 SU-76s. 28 T-34s were hit. 76 officers and 385 privates and junior officers were killed. 154 officers and 990 soldiers were wounded. Missing 12 (1 officer).


30.03.1945 - combat-ready equipment: 70 T-34 tanks, 13 ISU-122, 12 SU-100 and 11 SU-76.
