Dôstojník Československej army [1918-1936], and the general of the Slovak army [1939-1945]

Anton Pulanich (čítaj Pulanič) was born in 1884 in Holic. In rokoch 1917-1918 ako príslušník Rakúsko-Uhorskej army fought on the frontoch in Russia and Taliansku. In 1919, ako príslušník Československej army fought in Slovakia prodi Hungarian army. Since 1923 pôsobí in Pešom regiment 41 and medzi rokmi 1934-36 is veliteľom Pešieho regiment 25. Subsequently (30.11.1936) retired.
After the establishment of the Slovak republic is reactivated at the rank of colonel (about 23.3.1939) and continues in service in radoch novovzniknutej Slovak army, where najskôr pôsobí vo funkcii chief of staff Veliteľstva air gun (???), and subsequently from 27.08.1939 ako veliteľ 1. divízie "Janosik" poľnej army "Bernolák". Medzitým bol in the summer of 1939 promoted to general (after reorganizácii rank in the year 1940, the general II. triedy). Simmilar pôsobil ako veliteľ Vyššieho veliteľstva 1 and from 12.07.1941 to 25.07.1941 velil Slovak units nasadeným on východnom the front. Subsequently pôsobil ako veliteľ Veliteľstva pozemného troops in Banskej Bystrica. On general Even. triedy bol promoted 1.1.1942. From 01.01.1944 him vo funkcii vystriedal general Turanec.
Subsequently pôsobil to Ministerstve národnej defense in Bratislave, where 1.9.1944, along with generálom Čatlošom, odmietli vydať order pre Bratislavskú crew on dobrovoľné odovzdanie weapons to the German units. 31.3.1945 on the order of the minister of národnej defense Haššíka opúšťa Bratislava. After vojne lived in Dunajskej Strede, where ako 78 hard in year 1962 zomiera.
Any idea as to his poprave in Berlin 4.2.1945 on axishistory.com sa nezakladajú in truth. The author of this any idea as to confusing the general Pulanicha with generálom Štefanom Jurechom.
Buried is in the town of Holic vo svojom rodisku and his grave has a number 0831.
