pilot mjr. Ivo Zachara za zhoršené dohlednosti pod spodní hranicí mraků sklesal až na 300m nad terén a nestačil zareagovat na zvedající se terén, tím došlo k nárazu do lesa na kóte Studený severozápadne od obce Těchonín. Letoun prorazil v lesním porostu průsek o délce cca 100m až na vrchol, začal hořet a pokračoval v nízkém letu až dopadl na terén. Pilot se katapultoval pozdě, dopadl oddělen od sedačky a utrpěl težké zranění.

On September 2, 1996 there was a plane crash in which the machine was destroyed, the pilot survived but was seriously injured. The machine then belonged to the 4th zSL Čáslav, the pilot mjr.
