Яковлев Як-14
The first prototype of the glider was developed by the offices of the OKB Yakovlev in the year 1947. The front part of the hull otvírala to the side and thus it was possible to quickly load/unload cargo (vehicle, gun...). Troop tests were conducted from the 2. 8. 1949 to 17. 9. 1949. While the glider Cybin C-25 mainly transported soldiers, As-14 could carry up to 3,500 kg of material. Gliders were in the Soviet union, replaced in the early 50. years transport aircraft Antonov An-8 and Antonov An-12 and helicopters Mil Mi-4 and Mil Mi-6. The total was in the years 1950 - 1952 made 413 gliders of this type. Gliders are produced in factory no. 168 in the Rostov on Don.
