Born 15.1.1902 in Neuhausenu, trained pastry chef, in 1927 is based in its village of a branch of the national socialist PARTY, holder of the golden badge of the party no. 61574. A convinced nazi. From 1933 a member of the Abwehr in Dresden. It is still not clear how much was Paul Thümmel from the beginning a participant in the intelligence game, probably participating from the very beginning, but some authors claim that only a portion of the transferred materials has been prepared Abwehrem and the rest of the added Thümmel himself (you should be real). However, the reality is that it was the most successful event of the Abwehr against our intelligence.
