Char léger Renault transportable by plane In the order of the French army of 18.5.1936, the development of an airborne tank was specified, the purpose of which was to support airborne units in conducting offensive operations. Similar airborne aircraft projects took place, for example, in the Soviet Union or USA. The tank was to be based on the construction Renault AMR 35. However, the weight of the machine should not exceed 5 tons. The machine was to have a two-member crew, the armament was to form a 37 mm cannon plus one 7.5 mm machine gun. The armor should reach a maximum thickness of 13 mm. Parts of the hull and tower were to be made by casting. The tower was to have a hemispherical shape. There was a project to modify the Bloch MB 300 aircraft, which was to have a loading platform in the fuselage on which the tank was to be transported. According to the assignment, the platform should be able to get the tank on board the aircraft within 8 seconds, unload within 4 seconds. The project did not receive a prototype.
