Oberleutnant Georg Kenzian von Kenzianshausen was born on 11. may 1894 in Linz (according to other sources in Jicin). As his father became an officer in the Austro – Hungarian empire. After graduating from military school 1913 he joined the Pionierbatallion 2. With this ženijním banner in hodnosto Leutnant was deployed on the Russian front. In December 1914 he was wounded. In September 1915 he was promoted to the rank of Oberleutnant. In the turn of the years 1915 - 1916 he asked for a transfer to the air force. In February 1916 he was sent to pozorovatelskému course in the Vienna New Town. After completion of his training was as an observer relegated to the status of Flik 24, which on the Italian front was commanded by Gustav Cold. Here, Georg Kenzian and his pilot, Rudolf Frost, shot down 16. June, 1916 the enemy Farman. Kenzian get a successful kill in four days echoed with the pilot Josef Kiss. Unfortunately, at the end of July 1916 was Georg Kenzian along with the pilot Alois Hedgehog shot down by a group of Italian fighters.
