Pamětní medaile k 30. výročí národně osvobozeneckého boje našeho lidu a osvobození Československa Sovětskou armádou

Commemorative medal of 30. anniversary of the national liberation struggle of our people and the liberation of Czechoslovakia by the Soviet army.
Die Erinnerungsmedaille zum 30. Jahrestage des Nationálen Befreiungs-Kampfes des Volkes und der befreiung der Tschechoslovakei durch die Sowjet-Armee.

Medal at its founding, was again out of luck, which in the year 1990 in its wake meant a ban on the wearing of this medal.
This commemorative medal was set up again from the decision of the Central committee of the Communist party of Czechoslovakia. The CPC CENTRAL committee on the establishment of this commemorative decoration was decided on 26. April 1974. Then, later the government has put a medal into the system of state awards.
Pretentious title medals and flashy justification to whom and for what decoration to grant deserves the memory of the dogmatic rationale for who and why!
Appreciate the merits of the citizens and of the collective in the national and osvobozovacím the fight and in the construction of socialism in our country.
The selection of the award was focused (should be focused) on direct participants in the national osvobozovacího struggle at home and in the foreign (here this applies only for members of the l. corps') and, further, for members of units of the people's militia, who significantly contributed to the building of the armed forces and their combat and political readiness, and also for officials, workers of the CPC, the authorities and organisations of the National front, the state organs, individuals and labor collectives, who are responsible for the all-round development of our socialist society.
In practice, this meant that it got almost every senior member of the people's militia, a member of the SNB, the comrades on the degree OV of the CPC (selectively) from the instance of the Regional committee of the CPC almost across the board. The members of the western underground (the airmen, the soldiers of the Armored brigade) somehow didn't get it. On the distribution of medals also decided functionaries of the District branches of the Union of anti-fascist fighters, who on their western comrades-the soldiers would rather not remember.
The medal is quite small, averaging 30 mm at a force of medals 2 mm. It is minted of base metal (bronze).

Description of the medal:
Avers:
On the front are two figures and a soldier and a guerrilla, according to the model of the USSR, who their sub-machine guns have a "navel". Both characters in the erect hands holding flowers, which is a reminder of the blooming lilacs from the year 1945. The two characters are overridden by the symbol of five-pointed stars. The medal is the inscription: TOGETHER IN the FIGHT (left side) FOR VÍŤEZSTVÍ (right side)
Reverse:
On the back side of the medal is, again, placed a five-pointed starfish. On the desktop there is an inscription in the Slovak language : TRIDSIATE VÝROČIE OSLOBODENIA CZECHOSLOVAKIA SOVIETSKOU ARMY
The ribbon is red and the hinge is small, for the state awards a totally inappropriate and uncharacteristic.
Rámečková the ribbon is 27 mm wide dimensions 30,5 x 10 mm.
Medal designer Josef Hvozdenský however, their contracts within the control of the ideological department of the CPC CENTRAL committee acquitted himself well.
Medals were awarded in the little red etuis. For each medal belonged udělovací decree, where vpisovalo the name of a decorated. The problem was the signature on this decree for the medal was awarded to the CPC CENTRAL committee and a facsimile of the signature bears the name of Gustav Husak.
Already in January 1990 was drawn up in a file, which in the army to discourage the wearing of partisan medal and the this medal, or more precisely the ribbon, that the senior officers wore had to be odpáraná. At that time no one raised any protest, or would it in this time mean discharge from the army. Medal in the silence and peace was removed. Stupidity is apolitical, has its strength and weight even after the coup of 1989. I was not pleasant, when I this ribbon of uniform removed.
