After the occupation of France by German troops, they seized among many types of tanks and other vehicles and the possibility of half-track tractors SOMUA MCG. These half-track tractors were used by Baukommando Becker to rebuild the tank destroyer. They created an open armored body on the platform, into which they mounted a German anti-tank cannon 7.5 cm Pa.K. 40. The crew consisted of 3-4 men. The source lists 72 pieces produced.
48 pieces of these half-belts were converted for ammunition supply ( Munitions Zugkrafwagen auf SPW S307 (f)).
