25. bombardovací letecký pluk [1954-1965]

In the summer of 1954, it was relocated to the Přerov airport and "renamed" on 01.11.1954. There he continued his training on C-3 "Siebel" and at the same time prepared for retraining on B-228 (Il-28). From February 2, 1955, the division headquarters and the 25th Bombardment began retraining. On February 9, 1955, they began the theoretical part, and from February 17, 1955, practical training flying on the CB-228 and B-228.
01.11.1955, the regiment was reorganized into the 25th Bombardment Aviation Regiment Reactive (25.
The reorganized 25th Battalion was to have 401 personnel in the new organizational structure.

The internal organization in the aviation regiments underwent a major change in 1956/57. This was the organization of the Aviation Engineering Service (AES). Firstly, Technical Regimental Departments (TOP) were established at each unit to carry out inspections and prescribed periodic work on aircraft. The other change was the "removal" of all technical personnel from the squadrons and their incorporation into the Operations Department. This was subdivided into Operations Groups, as "partners" of the squadron, which continued to include only staff and flying personnel. This organization was phased in gradually, with the date of 01 October 1957 given for most units - including all regiments of the Bomber Division. Therefore, the subordinate units are organizationally listed on this date.
