In 1961, the BA-10(referred to as BAF C in the Finnish military), captured during the fighting with the Soviet Union, was converted into a rare crane on the platform of a Soviet armored car. The machine used was a Ps.27-11, with the turret and much of the armoured hull removed. At the rear of the platform was mounted a crane moved from a similar conversion of a Finnish prototype armoured car Sisu, which had been cancelled. Thus modified, the vehicle bearing the designation BA-10N served in the army until 1978. The vehicle has been preserved and is now part of the museum collection at the Parole Military Museum.
