Šostýn (také Schauenstein, Schornstein, Scheibstein)


Zřícenina hradu Šostýna se nachází na zalesněném bočním vrcholu výšiny JV nad městem Kopřivnice (okres Nový Jíčín, kraj Moravskoslezský). Nedaleko se nachází zříceniny hradů Štramberka a Hukvald, relativně blízko je pak ještě zřícenina hradu Starého Jíčína. Hrad založen v 2. pol. 13 století dle jednoho z dřívějších názvů jeho zakladatelem mohl být hrabě Jindřich ze Schornsteina. Dobyt a následně zničen nejspíše roku 1428 když husité táhli do Slezska.
