Mstěnice
The fortress, together with the defunct fort Mstěnice interesting source of information about the life and occupation of the Czech lands in the middle ages. The first written mention of the Mstěnicích we have from the year 1393, disappeared 1468 violent means in the course of the military campaign of the Hungarian king Matthias Corvinus against the Czech king George of Poděbrady. The entire site i.e. the fortress and the village has become an important archaeological site. Archaeological excavations here were carried out for 50 years.
