9.8 Auto Colt
The 9.8 Colt m. 1912 pistol was offered to the Romanian government in 1913 as an army service weapon. However, Romania adopted the Steyr m. 1911 pistol for its arsenal and the Colt pistol was produced only in small quantities and never officially on sale, nor was the cartridge for it. The cartridge was manufactured by the Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven, USA. The cartridge on the right is a 9mm Luger. Photo by.
