Hvězda:
Star: 		Vyznamenání Za statečnost má tvar kruhu o průměru 33 mm. V levé polovině vyznamenání jsou dvě ratolesti, vavřínová a lipová, svázané dole stuhou s nápisem "Za statečnost"; vpravo od ratolestí jsou písmena ČSSR. Na rubu jsou vavřínové a lipové snítky a uprostřed štítek s matričním číslem. Vyznamenání je raženo ze stříbra. Stříbrným závěsným kroužkem je zavěšeno na stuze 38 mm široké a 55 mm dlouhé. -

a Medal For bravery
(established by government regulation no. 30/1951 Sb. of 3. April 1951)

GOVERNMENT REGULATION of 3. April 1951, which are based honours and regulates the award of the honorary title "Hero of labour". The government of the republic of the Czechoslovak orders, with the consent of the president of the republic pursuant to §§ 1a 7 of law no 247/1949 Coll., about his medals and honorary mentions:
§ 1
To appreciate the merits of building a state and its economic, political, social and cultural development and the merits of strengthening its brannosti,
1. introducing the honorary title "Hero of labour", with which is associated the right to wear the gold star of Hero of the work;
2. based orders:
a) "Order of Socialism"
b) "Order of the Republic"
c) "Order Work"
3. based honours:
a) "For the merit of the construction"
b) "For the excellent work"
c) "For bravery"

§ 8
Medal For bravery is awarded to those who demonstrated bravery or dedication vzápase with infiltrators and other enemies of the state or in the defence of inviolability of state borders, or for other outstanding acts of civil bravery and courage.
§ 9
Details on the conditions of awarding the honorary title "Hero of labour" and the awarding of orders and decorations established by this regulation, a description of the gold star of the Hero of the work, and orders and decorations, as well as the details of their wear and the wear of the existing orders and decorations are contained vpřipojených statutes, which are part of this regulation.
§ 10
Things the honorary title "Hero of labour" and of the orders and decorations established by this regulation manages the prime minister. The submission and consideration of proposals for awarding the honorary title "Hero of labour" and for the conferring orders and decorations adjusts to the prime minister directives vdohodě with interested members of the government.
§ 11
This regulation shall take effect on the date of the notice; shall conduct all members of the government.
