Četnický pluk č. 2 pro Čechy, Moravu a Slezsko vznikl v roce 1860 sloučením dosavadního Četnického pluku č. 2 pro Čechy a Četnického pluku č. 3 pro Moravu a Slezsko. V roce 1866 byl pluk nahrazen Zemským četnickým velitelstvím č. 2 pro Čechy a Zemským četnickým velitelstvím č. 4 pro Moravu a Slezsko.
