The cross For faith and fatherland
Silver cross For faith and fatherland was based from the decision of the Vojskového ataman order number 44, dated 29. June 1998 as the highest honors Volžských of the cossacks. The order addressed the complete issue of this medal, the organization of the records, but also the purchase of silver required for the manufacture of the cross.
The cross can be granted to the nationals of Volzhsky cossack troops, but decorated must be at least five years an active member of the army. The cross may be awarded to other kozáckým units, but also to the citizens who I am and I'm working with the cossacks, to help revive the ancient cossack traditions.
Description of the cross:
Avers:
Cross of the Greek type is superimposed on the thorns kounu and sword. It's about an old cossack tradition, the crown of thorns of the Lord, the sword as the protector of christianity. At the ends of the arm are jubielní data:

- 1993
- 1996
On this silver cross is loaded less, red enameled cross, which is in the central part of golden character Volzhsky cossack troops.
Reverse:
The back side is celostříbrná with a circular medallion in the center of which are the letters"
"ВКВ" (Volžské cossack army)
In a circle spaced inscription:
“ЗА ВЕРУ И ОТЕЧЕСТВО“ (For faith and fatherland)
Each original cross is awarded with a registration number.
The cross is worn on the classic kolodce with an ancient ribbon of the order and the cross of St. George.
The first knight of the silver cross (cross number 1). is Vojskový ataman general of the cossack troops B. N. Gusev. Cross awarded for the revival of the traditions of the Volzhsky cossack troops..
