At the beginning of April 1788 he made bačský archbishop Joanovič greater amount of the Turkish Serbs to abz went on the territory of the monarchy, and here entered into the imperial army. By order of the marshal Lacyho of them was a centurion Mihaljevičem from the second bánského hraničářského regiment formed a regular volunteer corps. Initially, the body consisted of two hundred men each. Already in the autumn he had the strength of the battalion about four setninách, or roughly a thousand men. In November 1788, it was ordered to establish a second battalion and also irregular Serbian volunteer corps, which was supposed to be this regular subject. The high command has in addition agreed to create a ostrostřeleckého divizionu and daring eskadrony. In 1790 the corps consisted of four infantry battalions (a total of 24 hundred men each), four irregular hundred men each, four oompah hundred men each, and one hussar divizionu, which together consisted of almost 4500 men. In the same year was the choir in Smederevu dissolved. The corps commander was major (later lieutenant colonel and colonel) Stephan Mihaljević.

In 1788, the choir participated in the cast Šabace, an encounter with Železniku and the overflow of Hassan-Pascha-Palanky. When the conquest of the Shabats have led the centurion to Paul von Sokolovič so well that he received the Military order of Maria Theresa. In the following year the glee club was used primarily to cover the forces on Belgrade. Part of it was deployed even in the conquest of the fortress. In 1790 the congregation was in Serbia and he participated in the engagements at Kruševace and Aleksinace.
