Badge of the 143rd Dorogobuzh Infantry Regiment

Honorary badge of the regiment was based 22. August 1910.

Description of the badge:

Badge has a form or shape of a cross type of the Sv. Jiri, but is also a shape similar to a so-called Opočenskému the cross. The cross is of white enamel and on the vertical arms of the cross are the royal initials:
- Alexandra And.
- Nicholas II.

On the horizontal arms of the cross is the inscription:
"Охотский – Дорогобужский"

The first inscription informs us about the formation of the regiment, which was built on part of the former regiment of Okhotsk. The central medallion, which is the yellow enamel ( Andolenko states white enamel) bears a two-headed crowned eagle of the inserted into the small wreaths of laurel and oak leaves. Cherry is in the upper part of the banked imperial crown. At the bottom of this flower is the golden officer's label with the numeral "100". Between the arms of the cross are sharp pointed star, enameled in yellow and black color on which there are jubielní the years: "1806-1906"

Badge, or better cross has dimension 42x42 mm.
The badge for officers was made of silver and with the use of enamel.
Badge for non-commissioned officers and men was only made of gilded bronze sheet metal, without enamel..
