Aeromarine-Klemm
AEROMARINE KLEMM CORP. was founded in Delaware on June 1, 1928 for the purpose of manufacturing Klemm L25 aircraft in the United States.
This was primarily to attract American customers who really had plenty of funds in the late 1930s, and so in partnership with Aeromarine Plane & Starter Co. the above company was formed.

AKL-25
AKL-25A
Both versions, with the Salmson AD-9 engine (40 hp) and a price of $3350, were very successful in production. A total of 181 units were produced.
AKL-26
It had a LeBlond 5D engine (65 horsepower) and cost $3500. A total of about 10 units were produced.
AKL-26A
The new larger fuel tank resulted in a greater range of up to 480 miles. One unit received a more powerful Armstrong-Siddeley Genet engine [NC163M] (80 horsepower).
AKL-26B and AKL-85
A model with a LeBlond 5DF engine (85 hp) and a price of $3,700. (The version with floats cost $4700)
AKL-26 Special (AKL-26X)
Velie M-5 engine (65 hp)
AKL-27
LeBlond 7DF engine (110hp).
AKL-60
Derived from AKL-26 with LeBlond 7DF engine (110hp).
AKL-70
LeBlond 5E engine (70hp) pilot training version priced at $2,550.
Keane HKL-27
A lightly priced version ($1,800) designed by Horace Keane during the Great Depression with a Ford V8 engine. A total of 6 units were produced.
