Beginnings and construction of air security services

The Czechoslovak Air Force in the period from 1945 to 1950 was, in terms of all rear care, secured by a system of air bases and airport administrations. The technical equipment of the Air Force consisted of a wide range not only in terms of the number of types of aircraft themselves, but also different levels of on-board equipment for connection with the airport and between aircraft.

Ivan Bazilevič Kňažikovský

In his time he was one of the most famous aviators of the young Czechoslovak Republic. Although even then he was a bit in the shadow of the first king of the air, František Malkovský. They both flew a red-coloured aviator, both died in it just a few months after each other in 1930.

KSPL (airfield lighting system)

This mobile lighting and technical airfield kit for czechoslovak air force was developed by Elektrosignal. The KSPL mobile set was even intended to be a unified lighting equipment for the Warsaw Pact airfields.
