On Monday died at the age of 87 years former director of israeli intelligence, the Mossad (in office 1974-1982) Yitzhak Chofi.
After his leadership, the intelligence service participated in the rescue of israeli hostages in operation Entebbe, the disposal of the representatives of the palestinian terrorist organization Black September, and the destruction of the iraqi nuclear reactor Osirak. Before that, he served as a general in the israeli army in the rank of commander the Northern command.
