Ejército del Aire lost the plane CASA C-101EB Aviojet, reg. E.25-65, v. no. 071, from 794 Esc, which flew by the Patrulla Águila as #5.
The machine crashed while flying in formation into the sea in the area of La Manga del Mar Menor. The Pilot, commander Eduardo Fermín Garvalena (39) died without attempted ejection.
