In a rocket attack on the International airport Mitiga was damaged by shrapnel several aircraft. Confirmed machines were the Boeing 737-4B6, reg 5A-WAC, v. no 26531/2453 Buraq Air Transport and Airbus A320-214 the company Afriqiyah Airways.
