Royal Air Force (RAF) BAe Hawk T.1A reg. XX278, v.no. 103/312103, operated by the Red Arrows, was damaged during a display at Rhyl, Denbighshire, Clywd , following a collision with a bird. The pilot successfully made an emergency landing with the aircraft at Chester/Hawarden Airport (CEG/EGNR).
