The pilot managed to successfully land on an aircraft carrier the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). In the time of the accident was a damaged aircraft tankován of the aeroplane F/A-18F Super Hornet from Strike fighter squadron 103, "Jolly Rogers".
