The book series Behind the lines introduces the reader with the issue of non-combat buildings, located to the rear of the battle line of the czechoslovak fortification in the Ostrava region and Opavsku. This space was entrusted to the defense primarily hlučínskému hraničářskému regiment 4. Besides the strength of the objects should have this unit in a critical September 1938, available as part of the command objects, significantly a cable network, necessary for mutual communication between them and last but not least, a pair of newly constructed hraničářských barracks. Just the barracks in Koblově and Hlučíně, rozestavěným, but nedostavěným barracks in Hrabyni or extensive area opavských Masaryk barracks, built still in the time of the Austro-Hungarian empire, is devoted to this publication. In addition to the above mentioned system of military quarters, however, the reader in the book to get acquainted with the buildings, which hlučínští rangers were using at the time still did not available their newly constructed barracks complexes, or objects, where, on the contrary subsided after the annexation of czechoslovak borderlands.
