High award for honoring Sergeant KAJB Scott
On the morning of June 26, 1857, a solemn ceremony was held in London's Hyde Park, associated with the awarding of a new military decoration. Her Majesty Queen Victoria decorated 62 members of the army and navy of various ranks with a new order that bore her name and for future generations became a dream goal and the highest goal that can be achieved on the battlefield.
In the next part of the story of Victoria Cross, we will focus on a few interesting things about some of the holders of this order.
