Gentlemen, 07.09.2021 the keel of the first of the ordered Ukrainian Ada-class corvettes, which will be built by P.K.M. Gemi Yapım Sanayi shipyard in Deniz Taşımacılığı İşletmesi A.Ş., was inaugurated. (RMK Marine). The ceremony was attended by a Ukrainian delegation led by the Commander of the Ukrainian Navy, Admiral Oleksiy Neyzhpapa (Олексій Неїжпана). The Ada-class corvette has a length of 99.44 metres, cruising speeds of up to 29 knots and has a crew of 93. Equipment includes helicopters, 3D radar, electro-optical sensors, an electronic support system, a laser warning system, a torpedo detector, hull sonar and two 76 mm guns, several 12.7 mm machine guns, missiles of unspecified type and 324 mm torpedo tubes.
