Graphically and sound wise a crappy game by Jane's from 04/98, but it has an awful lot of planes to choose from (none of them have a real cockpit Very Happy ) and excellent gameplay. Most interesting are the Vietnam Campaign and the Ukraine Campaign (fiction - Restoration of the USSR, Evacuation of Yeltsin etc...).

If you want to fly a super captain in a modern fighter, try Falcon 4. It's an F-16-only simulator, but the dynamic campaign set during the modern Korean War is awesome. The flight characteristics are really good and supposedly very realistic. The controls are also stiff, because until you learn how to control all those knobs and levers (which can be controlled by clicking on them with the mouse) it will take a while. But then it's a breeze to fly. Very Happy
