Odznak má podobu bílého smaltovaného kříže maltézského typu. Ve své horní části je převýšený zlatou carskou korunou. Na vodorovných ramenech kříže je rozdělený jubielní letopočet založení korpusu: - 1778
Na vlastním kříže je naložen velký plastický monogram carevny Kateřiny II.

The badge of this special military establishment was established for graduates of the 28. November 1909.
Description of the badge:
The badge takes the form of a white enamelled cross of the maltese type. In its upper part is overtopped by the gold imperial crown. On the horizontal arms of the cross is divided jubielní the year of the founding of the corpus: - 1778
On its own, the cross is loaded with a large raised monogram of the empress Catherine II.
The badge is rare, but at present offers at auctions novodel made of silver even puncovaný original hallmarks. Enamel is the so-called hard, but it's only recognizable from the old hardwood white classic enamel..
