Badge of internal troops
Знак местных войск 1911
Badge of the Local troops

Badge for members of these units was based on 9. August 1911.

The badge was founded at the occasion of the 100th jubilee of the units of this type, for the commander, the chiefs and soldiers of the units on the degree of the brigade.

In 1811 the Russian tsar Alexander I. ordered to create a unit of "local guards". These units had police character because their duty was to ensure internal order in the country, to protect the order, to take care of peace and security and to intervene, e.g. against deserters, robber bands, etc. These units, however, had another important task, provide assistance during natural disasters, fires, etc. In 1864, this was a special choir of local guards transformed and is called "Local army"

The badge for officers was made of gilded silver with the use of enamel. Dimension of the badge is 60x39 mm when the weight of the 33,59 g. We meet, however, even with the badges, which have a somewhat different dimension, e.g. 58x44 mm.

The originals of the badges are his making beautiful and of course rare.

Note:
In 2011, he was in the Russian federation based commemorative badge to 200.anniversary of troops and at the same time, and commemorative medals.

Interesting decoration(jeton) is this privately built completely off the record a decoration of a member of the troop. Similar decorations are found very rarely in closed societies in the emigration. A strong and active organization of former soldiers, fighters against bolshevism were the most in the US and Canada.

Here it is clear that the badge is přizdoben a small order of St. George ribbon. It is quite likely that the officer of this badge or jeton wore in the company, for e.g. in the U.S. did not suffer the wear of foreign decorations "in natura", but was allowed to wear the federal decoration "of all kinds"..
