Badge: 		Král Carol I. dne 7.listopadu 1913 zakládá medaili,která nese oficielní označení MEDALIA AVANTUL TARII což v překladu značí:Medaile národního nadšení.Medaile je ražena z bílé slitiny kovů,ale velmi vzácně se objevuje tato medaile ražená i ve stříbře.Medaile má průměr 33 mm,sílu 2mm a výšku včetně valcovitého ouška 37mm. Na licové straně je v ploše plastický zobrazená k pravé straně hledíci orlice,která drží v zobáku malý křížek.Orlice má polorozepjatá křídla a nese ve středu na své hrudi kulatý medailon o průměru 11mm. V jeho ploše je umístěn portrét krále Carola I. s opisem:CAROL I.REGE (AL ROMANIE) Na ocasní péra je položená páska s nápisem:PACE(mír)Při okraji medaile je opis IN AMINTIREA INALTA TORULUT AVANT 1913 (Na pamět začínajícího rozmachu)


Rubní strana:


V ploše je zobrazen hornatý břeh.Za střední horou vychází sluneční kotouč s paprsky.Při levé straně na řece je vidět malé plavidlo.Od pravé strany medaile vybíhá most,který překračuje Dunaj a vyúsťuje u levého dolního okraje.Na mostě pochodují dvě vojenské kolony,zadní je vedená důstojníkem na koni.Při okraji se nahoře vznáší anděl,který drží malý věneček vítězství a v pravici palmovou ratolest míru.Na medaili je do hloubky vyrytý nápis:DIN CARPATI PESTE DUNARE LA BALCANI( Od Karpat přes Dunaj na Balkán)

We are talking about the Balkan wars mainly in connection with Serbia. A lesser known chapter is the Balkan War and Romania. We will try to fix everything.
At the end of June 1913, when the Bulgarian army invaded Serbian territory by the Bregalnice River, the Serbs defeated the Bulgarians. At that time, the Greek army joined Serbia, but the Turks launched a new attack on Bulgaria and they managed to liberate Drinopol again. On July 15, 1913, the main forces of the Romanian army under Crown Prince Ferdinand crossed the Danube and began advancing in the direction of the Bulgarian capital Sofia. Meanwhile, the Romanian fleet defeated the Bulgarian torpedo and gunboats. On July 30, 1913, an armistice was concluded and on August 7-10, peace talks took place in Bucharest.
Romania gained a large part of southern Dobrogea and thus this war became a great victory for Romania.
On November 7, 1913, King Carol I established a medal bearing the official designation MEDALIA AVANTUL TARII, which means: Medal of national enthusiasm. The medal is struck from a white metal alloy, but very rarely this medal is struck in silver. diameter 33 mm, thickness 2 mm and height including cylindrical lug 37 mm.
The author of the medal was the Viennese medalist Gustav Gurschner. The medal was made by the Bucharest medal company Josef Resch and son.
