Pri naháňačke s americkým vrtuľníkom tento prešiel na druhej strane hranice do režimu visenia. O podobný manéver sa pokúsil aj pilot Mi-24D, ale jeho stroj sa začal prepadať. Pád zavinila nepriaznivá kombinácia záveternej strany kopca a veľkej nadmorskej výšky. Vrtuľník skončil v poraste hory Poledník. Osádke sa podarilo vlastnými silami vyprostiť zo stroja, ale piloti boli zranení a kapitán vrtuľníka dokonca musel odísť na invalidný dôchodok. | - |
