The headquarters of the Rifle Division was established
It was located, from 1940 in Vyborg, from June 1941 in the field in the Eastern European theater of war, and from 1945, subordinated, from 1940 to the headquarters of the 50th Rifle Corps [1939-1941],
Rifle Division Headquarters was disbanded on January 1946.


From February 1944 to January 1946, the division bore the honorary name "Lausitzer Rifle Division" and was awarded the Order of Lenin (13.02.1940).
