Arkebuzírský pluk Dampierrův [1620-1622]

Arquebusier-Regiment Dampierre
Arquebusier's Regiment of Dampierre

The regiment was formed by a patent of 1 December 1620 from four companies of La Croix's Regiment, to which a fifth was recruited. The regiment was active in Hungary, for example at the siege of Nové Zámky.

In 1622 the regiment was reduced to two separate companies. Isolan's company was disbanded in the same year, Bilwarth's company was incorporated into Pálffy's regiment in 1623.
