Commemorative badge of the resistance group "the Fist"
The commemorative Decoration of the Resistance Group "the Fist"
The badge and its own resistance group, which is associated with Východočeským region and the city of Hradec Králové is the organisation primarily east bohemia railwaymen. Their resistance to the German Protectorate, we can trace ( we failed) until 1943. In 1944, they recorded the first, albeit timid, attempts to sabotage activities. The original group of "Fist" is split into two combat units with the fact that the section titled "Fist II" conducted minor sabotage actions the scope of the given possibilities of railway workers responsible for the movement of trains towards the front.The truth is, however, that these minor events were not too successful, and certainly do not mean for the Germans a permanent danger. High penalties, concentration camps, however, increasing the resistance of the railwaymen couldn't stop. In the may days of 1945 the part of the railwaymen with a gun in his hand fought on the approaches to the New Bydžovu and in the space Myštěvsi.
Description of the badge:
Avers:
Badge, or more precisely a bronze star about the size 54.5 mm with a relatively blunt spikes, which are covered with enamel in the color of the state flag.
The center, a relatively large medallion with a diameter of 31mm is gently zrněnou area. The upper edge of the medallion is a plastic sign:
"VRAGA" embedded between two decorative terminals in the form of the letter "E". The center medallion is loaded with plastic jubielní year from 1939 to 1945 under which is the iron part of the manchurian railway a hammer with the inscription:
- " FIST "
The handle of the manchurian railway (i.e. special ) hammer is touching the bottom edges of the medallion,with its edge framed by a segment in the shape of a crescent, which is at the right side of the dully completed and the left side juts out into a sharp spike. This is a symbol of vytěžovací part of the wheels of the locomotive. On this segment is a broom handle divided inscription:
- "FROM-FIGHT-CSD"
Reverse:
The back side is smooth with a clip to attach to clothing. Badges have their registration numbers..
