This medal is very rare as most of the pieces were awarded to dignitaries of the countries visited. The ribbon in the picture is incorrect. It should correctly have 4 green and 4 red stripes alternately separated by white stripes. If any of my colleagues know where to get the correct ribbon, please send the information to SZ.

This medal, as stated by my colleague Sehl, is rare and deserves further mention. J. B. Tito played the role of a leader of the "Third World" in his time, or at least aspired to. President Tito, during his visit to India and Burma, consolidated Yugoslavia's position in Asia and was welcomed there as a certain alternative to the influence of the USSR, but also of the USA. It is quite interesting that even Serbian collectors are not quite clear when the medal was established, the year 1954 is mentioned but also 1955. The literature is listed in the introduction of the article
Note : The offer of Serbian and Yugoslavian ribbons has been put on www. valka cz. These are indeed newly made ribbons, but without the addition of plastic fibers, prescribed size and precise design. The price of one ribbon ranges from 5 euro upwards.
