The cross was based from the decision of the Council atamanů cossack troops on 5. February 2007. The author of this decoration is an artist,a graphic designer N.Also. Ukolov (Н.И. Уколов)
Status:
The cross is designed to celebrate the work of the most committed of the cossacks, who are actively involved in the continuation of the traditions of the armies of the cossack in Russia. The cross can be appreciate the performance of the cossacks and abroad. The basic condition is to protect the unity of the cossacks, consolidate and develop the ancient cossack virtues, to defend the homeland.
Decorations For the faith and fatherland can appreciate the other citizens of Russia in case of their active work in favour of the cossacks (such as journalists, writers, historians, policy).
Cross awarded vojskový ataman, or an appointed member of the Council of the cossacks. With the cross is granted confirmation of the award of the cross. The cross is worn on the left side of the chest.
Description of the decoration:
Avers:
Red enamel cross with a black circuit is strikingly reminiscent of the old Russian order of St. andrew. Vladimir. The cross is between the arms of the short beams on which are laid the Russian cossack saber blade pointing down. The center red enameled shield bears a silver figure of St. George.
Reverse:
The back side is smooth with embossed inscription:
"ЗА ВЕРУ // И СЛУЖБУ РОССИИ" (For the faith and service of Russia)
Under this inscription is a plate where vyrývalo registration number granting the cross.
In the upper part of the decoration is the small handle, with hanging ring for attachment to the kolodku.
RIBBON:
The width of the ribbon 24 mm, front with the stripe:
- red
- blue
The modern decoration is made from base metal. Many of these modern decorations, which are not official state timetables are made of anodized aluminum.
